INTRODUCTION

Within the framework of European construction, GESAC's purpose is to ensure effective protection for copyright at the highest level. GESAC's mission is to respond to each Community initiative having an impact on the protection of literary and artistic creation by making known and defending the interests of European authors before the various institutions involved in the decision-making process (the Commission, Council, European Parliament and Economic and Social Committee).
