DIRECTIVE CONCERNING THE HARMONISATION OF CERTAIN ASPECTS OF COPYRIGHT AND RELATED RIGHTS IN THE INFORMATION SOCIETY

Directive 2001/29/EC of 22 May 2001 concerning the "harmonisation of certain aspects of copyright and related rights in the information society" is of paramount importance to European authors. Each measure it contains affects every sector of artistic creation, including literary and artistic works, music, the audiovisual sector, graphic and plastic arts, etc.
